The ADXL335 is a small-sized, thin, low-power, complete three-axis accelerometer that provides a signal-processed voltage output. It can measure acceleration within a limited ±3g full-scale range. It can measure static gravity acceleration of 1 degree in tilt detection applications, as well as dynamic acceleration caused by motion, impact or vibration.
Users select the bandwidth of this accelerometer using the capacitors xOUT.YOUT and zOUT on the CX.CY and cz pins. Appropriate bandwidth can be selected based on the application. The bandwidth range for the x-axis and Y-axis is 0.5 Hz to 1600 Hz, and for the Z-axis it is 0.5 Hz to 550 Hz.
The ADXL335 offers a small-sized, thin, 16-pin, 4mm × 4mm × 145 mm plastic pin architecture chip-level package (LFCSP-LQ).
