This Raindrop Sensor Module is a high-sensitivity electronic component designed for precise rain and liquid detection. Comprising a large sensing pad and a signal processing board, it rapidly outputs analog or digital signals by detecting impedance changes caused by water droplets.
Supporting a wide 3.3V–5V power supply, the module features an adjustable potentiometer for flexible threshold setting. It is an ideal solution for weather monitoring, smart home automation, and industrial control systems.

Description

The sensor is made of high-quality FR-04 double-sided material with an extra-large area of 5.0*4.0 cm. The surface is nickel-plated, providing superior performance in terms of anti-oxidation, conductivity, and lifespan.
2. The comparator output is clean, with good waveforms and strong driving capability, exceeding 15mA.
3. A potentiometer is provided for adjusting sensitivity.
4. Operating voltage: 3.3V - 5V
5. Output form: Digital switch output (0 and 1) and analog AO voltage output.
6. Fixed screw holes are provided for easy installation.
7. PCB size of the small board: 3.2 cm x 1.4 cm
8. A wide-voltage LM393 comparator is used.

Function introduction:
When connected to a 5V power supply, the power indicator light turns on. When there is no water droplet on the sensing board, the DO output is high level and the switch indicator light is off. When a water droplet is dropped on it, the DO output becomes low level and the switch indicator light turns on. After the water droplet is wiped off, it returns to the high-level output state...
The AO analog output can be connected to the AD port of a single-chip microcomputer to detect the amount of rainwater on it. The DO TTL digital output can also be connected to a single-chip microcomputer to detect whether it is raining. 
Wiring method: 
1. VCC: Connect to the positive terminal of the power supply (3-5V)
2. GND: Connect to the negative terminal of the power supply
3. DO: TTL switch signal output
