Wholesale Soil Moisture Sensor Module with Corrosion-Resistant Probe

No.MR-343
High-precision soil moisture sensor module with corrosion-resistant probe. Analog/digital output for smart irrigation and DIY electronics.

Description

1. Power Connection Instructions

  • [+]: Connect to the positive terminal of the power supply.
  • [-]: Connect to the negative terminal of the power supply.
  • ⚠️ Critical Warning: Do NOT reverse the polarity, as this may damage the chip permanently.
  • After correct power connection, the [P] power indicator light will illuminate, confirming the module is operating normally.

2. Sensitivity Adjustment (Blue Potentiometer)

  • Clockwise rotation: Increases the probe's detection sensitivity.
  • Counterclockwise rotation: Decreases the probe's detection sensitivity.
  • Example (Thermistor Sensor):
    • Default trigger threshold: 25°C (low-level output on [D0] when triggered).
    • After clockwise adjustment: Trigger activates at temperatures below 25°C.
    • After counterclockwise adjustment: Trigger activates at temperatures above 25°C.

3. Potentiometer Adjustment Limits

  • When the potentiometer is rotated clockwise until the [S] output indicator light turns on: The adjustment range has exceeded the test threshold.
  • When the potentiometer is rotated counterclockwise to its maximum limit: The adjustment range has also exceeded the threshold.
  • ⚠️ Important: Do NOT adjust beyond the threshold in either direction, as this will cause the module to malfunction.
  • Note: Potentiometer adjustment only affects the [D0] digital output and has no impact on the [A0] analog output.

4. Analog Output (A0)

  • The [A0] port outputs an analog voltage signal, which can be directly detected by the ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) port of a microcontroller.
