★ This module is designed for single-cell lithium battery or multi-cell lithium battery charging. The charging port can draw power from a USB port.
★ The ammeter for testing current must be connected
only to the 5V input terminal of the charging board.
★ The charging current should preferably be
0.37C of the battery capacity (i.e., 0.37 times the capacity). For example, a 1000mAh battery only requires a 400mA charging current. Excessively fast charging yields poor results and causes greater voltage drop after full charging.
★ The charging connection wire should
not be too thin or too long. This results in large resistance. A too-thin wire leads to significant voltage drop after full charging.
★ Ensure good contact with the battery terminals. Poor contact also causes voltage drop after full charging.
★ If the 5V input voltage is slightly high (e.g., 5.2V to 5.5V) and the charging current is less than 1000mA, this is normal. The chip automatically reduces the charging current to prevent burnout. A chip temperature of around 60°C during operation is normal since the charging current is large.
★
Reverse polarity input does not damage the chip, but reverse connection of the output (battery side) will burn the chip. Please pay attention!
